Government thinking on Home Information Packs and our senior staff have
attended all the appropriate seminars presented by RICS and DTI. Although
the Home Information Packs are not yet in force we are happy to talk through
the information that is currently available.
If you are selling, it is extremely helpful if you arrange straight away for your Title Deeds to be obtained and to choose a solicitor. Once the house is on the market things can suddenly start moving rather quickly and at that point you need to be in a position for your solicitor
to issue a contract as rapidly as possible. In addition to this, you may
want to do some preliminary research on Financial Services to see what mortgages
are available if you need one for the purchase of your new home as well
as checking what the terms and conditions are on your existing mortgage.
